Well, safe anyway! VBG!
Andrew’s plane arrived right on schedule at 4:00PM this afternoon in Madison, Wisconsin. We watched as all 180 Marines walked off the plane. There were a couple hundred people there, including the governor. The Marine band played and dozens of vets turned out to welcome them all home. It was so good to see Andrew after about 9 months. I thought it was awfully nice of them to tack up a huge flag just to welcome Andrew home; don’t you think so too?
Here’s the prophet’s chambers we’re staying in. It’s a loft in a barn of one of Andrew’s friends. We’ll be going to their church in the morning. Very nice place and very nice folks! We told Andrew he gets the bed at the top of the spiral staircase.

Here’s the band that entertained us while we waited and welcomed the Marines when they disembarked.

Here’s the 2/24 as they all walked off the plane. Notice the flag they flew from a crane.

Here’s Andrew when he finally found us in the crowd.

It is a good thing to be proud of your son.

We had the best seats in the house. I could have reached out and touched the Marines posting the colors. It was a time of celebration and tribute to those who served our country so faithfully.

Thanks to everyone who prayed Andrew home safely. God is good – all the time.
